ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born & raised in San Diego, Pamela spent her time growing up as an adventurous & athletic California girl. Her artistic interest began at a very young age, where as a child she enjoyed abstract art. Later, having taken art classes in school, she found herself drawing life-like photos of celebrities from magazine covers & stills of anything that interested her. Described by some as a self-starter and over-achiever, she's known to do anything she puts her mind to do, well. She has pursued other creative outlets over the years such as Photography, Marketing & Advertising, Audio/Video Production, Web Design, Cooking & Music. Having been inspired & personally encouraged by a world famous artist & friend, Pamela pursued her talents & has now established herself as a master of acrylics. Encouraged by friends & family who enjoy her artistic style, Pamela has now taken her hobby to a more serious level.
Pam's interest in painting is not limited to portraits, or landscapes but any subject that strikes her fancy. Growing up blocks from the ocean, gave her an appreciation of sea life & the natural beauty and activities of the beach. Pamela was fortunate to have traveled through every state in the continuous USA before the age of 20 which widened her life experiences & appreciation of a variety of arts & cultures that surrounded her. Her family's musical background established 'music in her soul' & her lifelong connections with musicians, singers and celebrities. She has also experienced the island life, having lived in the lush exotic setting of Hawaii. Currently residing in the awe-inspiring Southwest oasis of Sedona Arizona, she has called this area home for over 10 years.
